Kick up some dust and get on down to the countryside, friends! It's time to make some art!
Yellowbright/Fertile, MN native Dawn (Berg) Duncan present the inaugural Countryside Creative: Art Day @ the Barn, a half-day creativity retreat in the historic Hillside Hayloft!
During this four hour funfest, you'll enjoy watercolor and acrylic painting, along with making a festive seasonal craft. That's the option to do up to three activities in one event! You'll leave with your own unique creations and guidance will be provided for you as far as basic instruction and use of materials. The craft activity will be guided by Twyla.
The barn will be set up with art "stations," allowing guests to roam freely, visit, have food and drink, and partake in the creative activities they choose. All supplies, food/bev are provided! You just come ready to create and have a great time!
Property owner Michelle (Gaeta) Gunufson will be our venue host and there will be a few special guests on site: Stephanie Disse will have her Mountaingirl apparel/accessories set up and artist/master craftswoman Twyla Bucholz will guide the crafting portion of the day.
Gather your friends and get on down to the most beautiful barn in the area, which celebrates its 104th year in 2024!

A few notes about the property:
--There is parking right by the barn. You will walk up a bit of an incline to reach the barn door. If you need assistance, please let Dawn know. There is a golf cart on site that can be used to transport guests from their vehicle if needed.
--The barn does not have running water/indoor plumbing. However, there are two very clean bathroom options near the barn (outhouse, port-a-potty). They are spotless....
--You are free to bring in food/bev if there is something you'd like to have for yourself or to share.
--This is an adults only event (18+).
--Please dress for fall weather--It stays toasty in the barn, but because it's autumn in Minnesota....you just never know what the weather might do!
