Join local artists Anna Lassonde and Dawn Duncan to learn the art of Cyanotype, a camera-less photography technique involving objects on solution-coated paper and exposure to UV light (natural or synthetic/boxed). Once exposed for a set time then rinsed in a water bath, images of white on a Prussian blue background emerge.
This magical process originated a few years after the invention of photography and offers endless ideas when it comes to 3D objects to use in your creations! From natural specimens to Goldfish crackers and keys, Cyanotype will show distinct and stunning imagery---framers----and give you that surprise factor as you wait for the image to emerge!
